COMMUNITY STANDARDS
Welcome to the BOOMROOM community! This is a safe space to discuss fitness.
We want everyone that is part of our community to have their voice heard.
We encourage your feedback and aim to respond to reports within 48-72 hours. While we do moderate this community, we welcome open discussion.
To help everyone enjoy our community, we ask that when you participate in live instruction, private messaging, and other forms of communication, that you keep in mind the following:
We don’t allow defamatory, indecent, offensive, profane, discriminatory, misleading, unlawful, illegal, abusive or threatening content. This includes:
-imagery that depicts or promotes sexual abuse or activity with children
-promotion of terrorism or violent extremism
-posting or sending hateful, violent, gruesome, or pornographic imagery
-making violent threats
-targeting others with hateful or abusive speech
– promotion of the following: counterfeit goods and services; drugs and controlled substances; human smuggling or trafficking; products made from endangered or protected species; sexual services; gambling, betting, or wagering activities; unauthorized multi-level marketing businesses; stolen goods; or weapons including firearms, ammunition, explosives, instructions on making weapons, etc.
Personal attacks, name-calling, trolling and abuse will not be tolerated.
Spamming, posting promotional material or posting links to third party websites is not permitted.
This includes activity or content that attempts to disrupt or manipulate BOOMROOM and the experience of BOOMROOM’s members.
We reserve the right to delete accounts at our discretion and block any repeat offenders. We will remove content that is fraudulent, deceptive or misleading.
Impersonation and fraud is strictly prohibited.
This includes pretending to be someone you are not to either cause reputation harm or defraud others.
BOOMROOM respects all forms or clothing unless it is offensive or disrupts the experience of other users in a negative way.
Coordinated group attacks will not be tolerated.
Respect that other people in the community have had different life experiences and may have a different perspective to yours. We welcome different viewpoints.
Our community is a public place. Don’t post personal information that you would not be comfortable sharing with a stranger. We recommend that you don’t post any information that may identify you or anyone else, such as your address, email address or phone number.
We take threats or actions involving suicide or self harm very seriously.
If there is a report that a person is threatening suicide or self-harm, we may take a number of steps to assist them such as reaching out to that person and providing resources (contact information for mental health services or professionals).
We strictly prohibit members from promoting or encouraging suicide or self-harm. Members who violate these terms will be blocked from BOOMROOM.
We do not tolerate privacy threats.
This includes the posting of (or the threat of posting) other people’s private information without permission, or an attempt to get others to post that same information, or “doxxing”. This includes all non-public identifying information including:
-Home address or physical location information; identity documents; social security or other private national identification information; non-public phone numbers or email addresses; financial or banking information; and biometric or medical information.
Our instructors are not employees of BOOMROOM Fitness, L.L.C. They are independent business owners. Their content and personal beliefs do not represent BOOMROOM’s values or beliefs.
Copyright or trademark infringement is not permitted
Copyright is a legal protection for original works, like books, movies, photos and music. Copyright law prevents others from copying or displaying another’s work without permission subject to a few exceptions, most commonly fair use.
A trademark is a word, logo, phrase, or design that distinguishes a trademark owner’s good or service in the marketplace. Trademark law prevents someone from using a trademark to confuse others about whether a product or service is authentic, or to suggest that there is a relationship with the trademark owner when there is not.
